Who we are

Kit Ledger is provided by Lagerman Labs LLC, a Wisconsin limited liability company. This policy applies to the Kit Ledger iOS app.

Information you store

You can store equipment names, manufacturers, models, serial numbers, purchase details, values, warranty dates, locations, kits, statuses, notes, equipment photos, receipt images, and the owner or studio name shown on reports.

Kit Ledger stores this information locally on your device. Lagerman Labs does not receive or have access to it through the app.

Camera and photos

Camera access is used only when you choose to photograph equipment, receipts, or serial-number labels. The system photo picker provides only images you select. Kit Ledger prepares those images for local storage and uses Apple's Vision framework on the device to suggest a serial number from a label.

Exports and sharing

You can create an insurance-ready PDF or a complete Kit Ledger backup. These files leave the app only when you choose where to save or share them through Apple's system controls. A copy saved to iCloud Drive, another storage provider, email, or another app is then handled under your settings and that provider's terms.

Collection and tracking

Kit Ledger does not transmit inventory data to Lagerman Labs or a developer-operated server. It does not include advertising or analytics SDKs, track you across apps or websites, or sell or share personal information for advertising.

Retention and deletion

Inventory remains on the device until you delete individual items, choose Erase all inventory in Settings, or remove the app. Erasing the app's data does not delete PDFs or backups you previously exported; remove those copies from wherever you saved them.

Support messages

If you contact us, we receive the message and information you choose to include so we can respond. Do not send equipment records, serial numbers, or receipts unless they are necessary for your support request.

Children and changes

Kit Ledger is a general equipment-record tool and is not directed to children under 13. We may update this policy as the app changes. The updated date above will show when a revision takes effect.
